Atticus and Coronavirus
Atticus will be officially closed from Saturday the 21st until further notice.
We will continue to sell from the window and are happy to deliver in Lancaster and send by post to places further afield. I will however continue to come into the shop to handle orders and do some maintenance and change the window.
We are no longer selling outside the shop one those days.
We also plan to do more online selling and I'll be posting recommended reading for self-isolates, competitions, interesting links and special bargains.
So be sure to keep checking in.
For anyone not good with computers or don't want to take the trouble, we will find, order and deliver locally both new* and second hand books for a small fee, or donation to our stock.

We specialise in Indonesia and South East Asia, most of these books will be sold online and not kept in the shop. We are pleased to bring our online books into the shop for viewing and direct sale.

Atticus, the window, noticeboard and venue, is free to use by writers, artists, musicians and good causes. The centre table folds away and the shop can be transformed onto a small venue suitable for solo musicians, storytellers, talks and film shows. There is no charge for using Atticus, though a donation of cash or stock or help is always appreciated.
