Atticus Future Fest runs throughout October.
The CV 19 pandemic has made organising any events very difficult and it is possible some things may have to be cancelled at short notice.

Atticopolis
The first thirty minutes of Fritz Lang's classic silent film Metropolis edited with images, music and poetry contributed by participating writers and musicians. Atticopolis compares the dystopian vision of the future seen from 1927 with the present day, looking back through the grainy lens of history. All materials in the Public Domain.
Available on YouTube  from Oct 1st, Atticopolis will also be shown in an Altspace VR cinema.

Liz MacGarvey is a freelance education professional , working in schools on creative projects with teachers and students and on classroom enquiry projects with teachers. Her creative workshops use performance approaches to Shakespeare and poetry and she has written a number of theatre pieces for Manchester Communication Academy(MCA) , a secondary Academy in the North West of England . Most recently, she has worked with primary school teachers on approaches to the teaching of poetry .As part of the professional team for the Charity Hope One World Liz works extensively in India where she has used performance techniques to encourage development in English speaking and writing.
