Love Lancaster Live: the 2025 Music Festival
Picture

The music festival went well again. We raised over £450 for medical aid for Palestine from The MAP Quartet event. It was lovely to see so many old faces from past music festivals again. And some new ones of course. This festival, there have been two firsts; the string quartet and a jug band. The Lancaster Growlers jug band closed for us on Sunday night. They were a great closing act and a lot of fun and I hope we'll see them again next year..

Atticus sells secondhand books but also has a small stock of vinyl and CDs, small musical instruments, and other odds and ends.

Atticus, the window, noticeboard and venue, is free to use by writers, artists, musicians and good causes. The books in the centre can be moved and the shop can be transformed into  a small venue, suitable for solo musicians, storytellers, talks and film shows. There is no charge for using Atticus, though a donation of cash or stock or help is always appreciated.
Now, unfortunately, I will have to ask for help with setting up.
